This image made available by NASA on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015 shows an artist's rendering of a solar storm hitting the planet Mars and stripping ions from the planet's upper atmosphere. NASA's Mars-orbiting Maven spacecraft has discovered that the sun robbed the red planet of its once-thick atmosphere and water. On Thursday, scientists reported that even today, the solar wind is stripping away about 100 grams of atmospheric gas every second. (Goddard Space Flight Center/NASA via AP)

“America First Energy Plan” Revamped Upon Trump Inauguration

Promptly post-inauguration, the White House website underwent transition to reflect the new Trump Administration, including updating the “America First Energy Plan”; i.e., climate change webpage. Excellent pro-active work, with the expectation that common sense will prevail.

Promoting coal, natural gas, fracking, Keystone XL Pipeline, among other domestic oil-enriched projects, are essential. Reigning in the EPA is part of the deal, too.

From the webpage:

“President Trump is committed to eliminating harmful and unnecessary policies such as the Climate Action Plan and the Waters of the U.S. rule.”

Excellent, continuing:

“Sound energy policy begins with the recognition that we have vast untapped domestic energy reserves right here in America. The Trump Administration will embrace the shale oil and gas revolution to bring jobs and prosperity to millions of Americans.”

Indeed! More:

“President Trump is committed to achieving energy independence from the OPEC cartel and any nations hostile to our interests.”

These are steps in the right direction, and the American people will hold this Administration accountable.
