Why Donald Trump will win in 2020

President Trump is an assclown. He is the biggest narcissist in Washington save for CNN’s Jim Acosta. He doubles down on his outrageous statements more than Michael Moore doubles down on ordering supersize French fries at McDonalds. His approval rating hasn’t hit 40 percent in Gallup’s daily tracking poll since July 11th.

Congressional Republicans haven’t helped President Trump on the legislative front. Obamacare is alive. Tax reform doesn’t look good. The disastrous Iran Nuclear deal has yet to be torn to shreds. Construction of the border wall has yet to begin. Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan are pitiful negotiators. They managed to increase spending in the May short-term budget bill despite promises to the contrary. Mitch McConnell likely would have danced naked on the senate floor had Chuck Schumer asked him to.

Despite President Trump’s puerile rants and Congressional Republicans’ gross incompetence, Republicans are in great shape to make gains in the 2018 midterm elections and win the 2020 election. Why, you might ask? The answer is simple: they aren’t The Left.

Republicans have no better ally than the media. The media abhors Republicans and make very little effort to be objective. In June, Project Veritas went undercover with CNN Producer John Bonifield, who admitted that the network’s incessant coverage of the Russia scandal was “mostly bulls–t“ and that it was being done for ratings. MSNBC has a plethora of leftist shills, but at least they don’t pretend to be objective.

In the wake of the horrible attempted assassination of Congressmen Steve Scalise, CBS News lead anchor Scott Pelley talked about the possible consequences of “violent rhetoric.” Pelley commented, “It’s time to ask whether the attack on the United States Congress, yesterday, was foreseeable, predictable, and, to some degree, self-inflicted.” Pelley did not get in trouble with the network and remains CBS’ lead anchor on 60 Minutes to this day. Can you imagine the outrage on The Left if Pelley described the attack on Gabby Giffords as “self-inflicted” on national TV?

The Left identifies itself with vile people. The Obama administration lauded anti-Semite Linda Sarsour as a “champion of change.” Sarsour is a disgusting person. “Nothing is creepier than Zionism,” Sarsour remarked in 2012. Sarsour once called anti-Islamist feminist Ayyan Hirsi Ali “not a real woman” and said she wishes she could take away Ali’s vagina (Ali suffered genital mutilation as a girl in Somalia).

Louis Farrakhan praising nutcase Keith Ellison is the Deputy Chair of the Democratic National Committee. In 2007, Ellison compared President George W. Bush to Hitler. He said regarding the horrible September 11th attacks, “It’s almost like the Reichstag fire, kind of reminds me of that. After the Reichstag was burned, they blamed the Communists for it, and it put the leader [Hitler] of that country in a position where he could basically have authority to do whatever he wanted.” This despicable man is the second most powerful person at the DNC.

The Left nominates crappy candidates. The party of intersectionality and Identity Politics nominated Hillary Clinton in 2016, who will go down as one of the worst candidates in the history of American politics. After getting annihilated in the 2008 Democratic primaries by President Obama, Clinton nearly lost the 2016 primary to 1000-year-old Soviet Union honeymooning loonbag Bernie Sanders. After narrowly escaping Sanders, Clinton managed to lose the general election to a reality TV star. Despite being an awful candidate, Clinton checked off one major box for The Left: she fit the intersectionality demographic so often craved by the Democratic Party.

Instead of nominating someone like former Vice President Joe Biden, the Democrats will nominate someone who fits the intersectionality mold. According to a recent poll, Joe Biden would beat President Trump in 2020 by fifteen points but Kamala Harris would only win by one point. Senators Kamala Harris and Elizabeth Warren fit the intersectionality mold more than Joe Biden and thus one of them will win the Democratic nomination, because that is all that the Democrats care about. Harris would be a dream come true for Republicans. In January, Harris tweeted out her absurd thoughts on infrastructure. Harris recently tweeted, “For Attorney General Jeff Sessions to suggest that Dreamers are anything other than lawful is irresponsible.” This woman was the Attorney General for six years. I sincerely hope the Democrats nominate her.

I didn’t vote for President Trump in 2016 and it’s possible I won’t vote for him in 2020. It’s also possible the most likely person to knock out President Trump will be a Republican who primaries him in 2020. John “my father was a mailman” Kasich would have no chance. Perhaps our outstanding UN Ambassador Nikki Haley would have a chance if she chose to challenge the President.

President Trump has historically low approval ratings. It won’t matter if The Left continues their obsession with identify politics and intersectionality. If Trump choses to run again in 2020 and The Left does not regain some sense of normality, Trump will coast to re-election.

The Hypocritical Left

In Mayor Bill de Blasio’s progressive dystopia of New York City, businesses can be fined up to $250,000 for refusing to use the preferred pronoun that corresponds to a customer’s “gender identity.”  Some examples of preferred pronouns include “ze,” “zie” and “xe.”

In the wake of the horrific Orlando terror attack that saw 49 innocent members of the LGBT community killed, the Left took it upon themselves to do what they always do: attempt to politicize an event to fit their pre-existing narrative.

President Obama came under fire from prominent GOP lawmakers and activists for refusing to identify the enemy.  Obama angrily fired back at his critics: “There is no magic to the phrase ‘radical Islam.’  It is a political talking point.  It is not a strategy.”  I guess words only matter to the Left when they say so.

Obama called for new measures on gun control and blamed Republicans, remarking, “enough talking about being tough on terrorism; actually be tough on terrorism.  Stop making it as easy as possible for terrorists to buy assault weapons.”  The same man who gave Iran $150 billion to fund terrorism felt the need to blast Republicans because they care about a little thing called due process (I’ll delve deeper into this later).  Obama has no problem uttering the phrase “ISIL,” but refuses to say the phrase, “radical Islam,” claiming that there is no connection.  My dog is smart enough to know what the “I” in “ISIL” stands for.

On November 13, 2015, radical Islamic terrorists launched a series of attacks in Paris, France that saw over 130 innocent civilians killed.  Obama had no problem blaming terrorism for the attacks.  France has some of the strictest gun laws in the world.  How come Obama could blame terrorism for what happened in France (despite their strict gun laws) but blame Republicans for what happened in Orlando?  The reason is simple: blaming guns fits his narrative, despite the actual facts.

Following the death of legal juggernaut Antonin Scalia, Obama nominated liberal stalwart Merrick Garland to the high Court.  Despite Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s warning that the President’s nominee to the Court will not be considered, Obama went ahead and nominated someone anyway.  Obama did the right thing by nominating someone; however, it was the all-too predictable rhetoric that followed that proved the Left is who we thought they were.

Article II, Section 2, Clause 2 of the United States Constitution reads “He [the President] shall have the Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two-thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint…Judges of the supreme Court…”

The Left only chooses to care about the Constitution when they believe it is appropriate.  In response to the Senate Judiciary Committee’s refusal to hold a hearing for Garland, the Left adopted the phrase #DoYourJob.  It’s ironic that the one time the Left choses to care about the Constitution, they get it wrong.  Yes, it is the job of the President to nominate a Supreme Court Justice.  However, it is the job of the Senate to offer Advice and Consent—which includes the “Advice” to not confirm the judge.  Grumpy, bitter Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid once understood that not every nominee gets a vote, but of course it now fits his narrative to blame the very Congress that has been cursed by his (in the words of Senator Tom Cotton) “cancerous leadership.”

Since the Left claims they care so much about the Constitution (they don’t), then perhaps they should care about due process.  The Left’s reaction to Orlando was not to increase efforts to combat terrorism, but to strip Americans of their due process rights.  Senator Christopher Murphy of Connecticut held the Senate floor hostage on June 15 to talk about gun control and a “terrorist watch List.”  What Mr. Murphy failed to mention is that even if people on the “terrorist watch list” had been banned from purchasing firearms, the terrorist Omar Mateen still would have been able to proceed with the transaction.

Everyone agrees that terrorists should not be allowed to buy guns.  However, the list is greatly flawed.  There are thousands of Americans that are incorrectly put on the list by hapless bureaucrats in Washington.  Ted Kennedy and The Weekly Standard columnist Stephen Hayes were both famously on the list.  Simply banning people on the list form buying guns would violate ordinary Americans’ due process rights.

Senator Joe Manchin of West Virginia, evincing the disdain for constitutional protections so often exuded on the Left said, “The problem we have—and really, the firewall we have right now, is due process.  It’s all due process.”  I would support a bill similar to what Senator John Cornyn of Texas proposed, which would delay the sale of a firearm to anyone deemed suspicious, but would also allow ordinary Americans their due process rights guaranteed by the Constitution.  If the Left truly cared about terrorism, they would have voted for Senator Ted Cruz’s Expatriate Terrorist Act, which would revoke someone’s U.S. citizenship if he joins ISIS.  The Left opposed Senator Cruz’s legislation on due process grounds, but of course went back to not caring about due process when it didn’t fit their agenda.

Don’t let the Left fool you.  They care about neither the Constitution nor basic facts.  When researching a crime, the first question the police ask is, what was the motive?  The Orlando shooter said in a 911 call that he was pledging allegiance to ISIS and their leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.  But no, despite this declaration, the Left still claim they don’t know the shooter’s motive and that guns are to blame.  This is precisely why they are the Hypocritical Left.
