Senate Republicans Plan to Keep Obamacare. Tell Them to Stop Breaking Promises.

Republicans in the Senate have rallied around a replacement for Obamacare. They want to replace it with Obamacare. I wish that were a joke.

Senators Bill Cassidy of Louisiana, who would also keep funding Planned Parenthood, and Senator Susan Collins of Maine have drafted have drafted legislation they are calling “the Patient Freedom Act of 2017.” It is also called the Cassidy-Collins plan. It would allow states to keep Obamacare in place.

That would further destabilize healthcare in the country. It would force you to subsidize healthcare in another state under Obamacare. It would drive up costs. It breaks every promise the GOP has made.

Congress needs to repeal Obamacare. Cassidy-Collins explicitly does not do that. Supporting the Cassidy-Collins plan is breaking every promise the GOP has made since 2010.

The GOP must reject this plan. Please go here to tell them to reject Cassidy-Collins or use the form below.
