Stephen A Smith did not mince words when giving his thoughts on Colin Kaepernick’s decision to not vote.
Via The Blaze:
“As far as I’m concerned, Colin Kaepernick is absolutely irrelevant,” Smith charged Wednesday. “I don’t want to see him again. I don’t want to hear from him again. I don’t wanna hear a damn word about anything he has to say about our nation — the issues that we have, racial injustices, needing change, et cetera, et cetera. He comes across as a flaming hypocrite.”
It is not a surprise Kaepernick sat this election out, given he called both President-elect Donald Trump and Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton “proven liars” who were “trying to debate who’s less racist” during the campaign season. And defending his decision not to vote, the NFL star said Wednesdayit “didn’t really matter” who won the presidency because “the system still remains intact that oppresses people of color.”
Smith ended the interview by saying:
“Take the camera away from him,” Smith said. “It means nothing.”
