They framed it as a rally in support of illegal immigrants living in the nation, who may fear deportation when Donald Trump takes office at the end of this week.
The imagery of it, however, was beyond appalling.

That’s right. The head butcher of the nation’s premiere slaughterhouse, Cecile Richards, dared to stand in the middle of a church, before an image of the Holy Cross.
To be fair, it was the Metropolitan AME Church, in Washington, D.C. Many, if not most AME churches are more for social engineering than raising souls for Christ, which would explain why they allowed for the advocacy of breaking our nation’s laws, and for having that message delivered by a woman who has become quite wealthy through the murder of the unborn.
Richards has framed the treachery she peddles in this way:
“I’m proud to work for Planned Parenthood, where we believe health care is a fundamental human right — in the U.S. and around the world,” Richards wrote. “When politicians threaten to take away health care from millions of people and ‘defund’ Planned Parenthood, we know the people who will suffer most are those who already face barriers to health care.”
Except her version of “healthcare” isn’t very healthy for the sleeping infants, torn from where they should be most safe – their mothers’ wombs.
It’s also important to note that any service Planned Parenthood provides, such as cancer screenings and breast exams, even providing birth control, can be taken care of at community health centers.
House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) recently pointed that out at a town hall meeting, where a young woman questioned him on where women could obtain healthcare, should the government defund Planned Parenthood.
Every community has a low cost community healthcare center, where women can receive everything from prenatal care to immunizations to cancer screenings, as cheaply (or cheaper) than at any Planned Parenthood facility.
Speaker Ryan suggested taking the funds that the government gives to Planned Parenthood and redirecting it to those healthcare centers in communities across the nation. In doing that, those centers can operate more smoothly, providing more quality care, and the debate over funding to Planned Parenthood for abortions is taken off the table as a point of contention between pro-abort and pro-life advocates.
And while some will argue that no public funds go to pay for abortions, there is currently no way to monitor how Planned Parenthood uses the monies they receive. Abortion remains their biggest money-maker.
I honestly don’t know if I’m more disgusted with Richards for taking her vile message inside a “church” and standing before the cross as she did so, or if I’m more disgusted with the church leadership who would allow such a message, and this particular messenger to stand in the pulpit and mock God.
Perhaps, as they worry more about social justice, the leadership of Metropolitan AME should recall Exodus 21:22-25 (AMP):
22 “If men fight with each other and injure a pregnant woman so that she gives birth prematurely [and the baby lives], yet there is no further injury, the one who hurt her must be punished with a fine [paid] to the woman’s husband, as much as the judges decide. 23 But if there is any further injury, then you shall require [as a penalty] life for life, 24 [a]eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, 25 burn for burn, wound for wound, bruise for bruise.”
The Word of God further tells us that we are not biological happenstance. We are intricately woven, loved of God.
“13 You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body
and knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!
Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.
15 You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion,
as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.
16 You saw me before I was born.
Every day of my life was recorded in your book.
Every moment was laid out
before a single day had passed.” – Psalm 139:13-16 NLT
Our every day was purposed, from even before we were born.
The saddest part of this ugliness is that Cecile Richards has a calloused and corrupt heart, turned far from God’s love and far from His purpose for her.
Where she is now is not His plan, and thousands are denied the most basic right of life, because of what she promotes.
Shame on her, and shame on this “church” for twisting the message of God by partnering with her.
