No one saw that coming. James Comey, the FBI Director, has been fired by the President.
Comey, in testimony before congress, misstated a number of issues forcing the FBI to clear up the information. Comey was under attack from the left for his handling of the 2016 election and Hillary Clinton’s emails.
The President lost faith in the Director and decided he needed to go.
Jeff Sessions, the Attorney General, and the Deputy Attorney General, Ron Rosenstein, both recommended that the President fire Comey.
