Some of the responses to Trump’s erratic presser today were priceless.
Presumably, the press conference was called to discuss the announcement of Alexander Acosta as labor secretary.
What it devolved into was a mish-mash of Trump haranguing the media for unfair coverage, or, “fake news.”
He suggested war with Russia, by saying he would blow one of their ships out of the water.
“The greatest thing I could do is shoot that ship that’s 30 miles offshore right out of the water. Everyone will say, “Oh, it’s so great, it’s so great. That’s not great.”
He even responded to a question from a veteran reporter, April Ryan (who happens to be black) by asking if she could get him a meeting with the Congressional Black Caucus.
Jake Tapper, of CNN, later marveled at the madness on his show, “The Lead.”

We share your amazement, Mr. Tapper.
