Some powerful evidence points to a mole in the Clinton campaign. It’s one thing for the DNC and Clinton campaigns to suffer hacking on their email accounts and servers. It’s quite another when Donald Trump announces he will appear on “The Dr. Oz Show” the same day Clinton was diagnosed with pneumonia. Especially when that diagnosis was not made public until late Sunday afternoon.
Donald Trump and his daughter Ivanka Trump will sit down on “The Dr. Oz Show” on Sept. 15, where the Republican presidential nominee will talk about his “own personal health regimen,” according to an announcement from the show.
Dr. Oz also will ask Trump “why the health of the candidates has become such a serious issue in this campaign.”
The health care issue has been stirred up by Trump for months, but it would seem the timing here is more than coincidence. As is Trump’s seemingly-inside knowledge of Clinton’s health.
Everyone just assumed that the health conspiracy was just Roger Stone, the new Lee Atwater of dirty tricks. With Sunday’s “medical episode,” it’s apparent Clinton’s health issues are more than fodder for the National Enquirer. But did Trump really know, and how?
Who would know about Clinton’s personal health and act as a mole? Let’s start with her family. Former president Bill is out doing his own thing, and lies so much better than Hillary (or even Trump). Scratch him as a suspect.
Then there’s Chelsea, who is very close friends with Ivanka Trump. The two are only a year apart in age, and both grew up in a fish bowl with famous families. Their friendship is no secret.
“We were friends long before this election. We will be friends long after this election. Our friendship didn’t start in politics, it certainly is not going to end because of politics,” Clinton said on ABC’s “The View” on Friday. “I have tremendous respect for Ivanka.”
While the two have agreed to keep their distance in front of cameras during the campaign, it’s probably safe to assume that they talk. Clinton’s husband Marc Mezvinsky, an investment banker, also knows Ivanka’s husband Jared Kushner, a real estate and media investor. In fact, that’s how Chelsea and Ivanka met. (Yes, both men are Jewish, to throw more red meat to the alt-right–no matter who is elected, the 88 movement will be able to attack the Jewish son-in-law.)
Kushner and Ivanka are two of Trump’s closest advisers, closer than Steve Bannon or any of the official campaign staff. Chelsea is one of her mother’s primary surrogates.
It would appear very likely that Trump has very detailed, inside knowledge of Clinton’s health, including what caused her coughing fits. It would appear very likely he knew she was headed toward pneumonia before anyone in the press.
If this is true, then Trump has been using this personal connection to his own devious advantage. They say politics is a contact sport. But Lee Atwater (in his heyday) has nothing on Trump, if he used Hillary’s own family as a mole in her campaign.
