Donald Trump is getting aggressive against the Environmental Protection Agency while it remains leaderless until Scott Pruitt is confirmed. He is ordering the agency to, essentially, shut down. There are to be no blog posts, no tweets, no press releases, no new contracts, no new grants, and no new regulations.
The Trump administration has also ordered a “temporary suspension” of all new business activities at the department, including issuing task orders or work assignments to EPA contractors.
Good for Trump.
