“Hocus Pocus! Abracadabra! I cast a spell on you.”
At least that’s what a bunch of witches are doing to Donald Trump. Yes, you read that right, witches are casting spells on Donald Trump.
Apparently, these spellcasters around the world put down their broomsticks each month long enough to join together to cast “binding spells” on the President of the United States. Their goal is to prevent him from “doing harm”, at least what they consider harm. They think they are doing the world some great service and are very proud of their hexes. (Is this why Trump just cut a deal with Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer to legalize DREAMERs and wants to eliminate the debt ceiling? Explains so much!)
Harry Potter, Ron, and Hermione couldn’t be reached for comment, and Bette Midler and Alyssa Milano were too busy being has-beens to discuss this issue. So last night, Tucker Carlson interviewed one of these witches on his Fox News program. Amanda Yates Garcia calls herself the Oracle of Los Angeles and said in the interview,
“Well, I desire that Trump stop harming people that I care about and instituting policies that also harm me or other people that I care about. So, my ultimate aim is that we protect the people that we love from having harm done to them. But in the meantime, I think what’s really important is that we create a sense of solidarity and empowerment within the people who are participating in the spell to galvanize them towards action so they can feel empowered to make the changes that they want to see in the world.”
While my personal knowledge of spellcasting is restricted to the first couple Harry Potter books (“Avada Kedavra” and “Eat Slugs”), I still recognize the motivation and philosophy behind it. This witch just wants her own desires, regardless of what anyone else wants. It’s all about her. At its heart, that’s what paganism is – all about oneself. Just like every pagan religion throughout history – the idols always held the same personalities and values as the people making them. The people’s sin is reflected in their false deities.
As the famous Satanist Aleister Crowley once said, “Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law.” Nothing matters more than personal desire. Satanism and witchcraft are all about getting one’s way – all others be damned, literally. Christianity is the exact opposite, because it teaches to serve God and others before oneself. The Bible teaches to pray for our leaders, not curse them. Go into any Church on Sunday morning, and you will hear the minister praying for God’s wisdom to be bestowed on our nation’s leaders. Practicing Christians and Jews don’t specify prayers by political party.
“The Oracle” continued:
“While I don’t think any witch is thinking this is the only action that is necessary to prevent Trump from enacting his mean policies, I think that they’re hoping that by doing these symbolic actions that we’ll galvanize people to resist with our hearts. With our full hearts.”
“The real problem is we are about to have some kind of big nuclear extravaganza with North Korea. The real problem is that we are punishing immigrant children. The real problem is that we’re causing students to go into deep debt.”
Hmmm. I wonder what her political leanings are. I wonder. Hmmm? Sounds an awful lot like a radical Leftist to me. (While North Korea is a wide held concern, the whole DREAMER talking point is a dead giveaway.) This should not be surprising. Liberalism and paganism have a lot in common. Both prioritize selfishness over self-sacrifice. Both prioritize taking over giving. Both set up oneself as a god-like figure offended at the notion of subservience to Judeo-Christian values and beliefs.
If someone dislikes Trump or any other American politician, that’s fine. Not a big deal. We have that right as Americans. But cursing and hexing our politicians is not the way to express our frustrations and misgivings. It’s messing around in a realm that these people don’t really understand. And it is the kind of action that only further exacerbates the divide that already exists in this country. A country falling further away from the Lord every day. This nation needs unity in more prayer, not division in the occult.
