#FreetheBeer in Georgia

In Georgia, legislators cannot come up with a solution to help Georgia’s craft beer breweries.

It is time to take action.

Georgia is one of only three states that does not allow breweries to sell directly to their patrons. We need to change this. It is common sense to allow Georgia’ breweries to sell at least 128 ounces of beer directly to their customers.

Georgia’s legislators need to know they should listen to constituents, not lobbyists for the wholesale industry trying to save a nearly 100 year old system. That system requires breweries sell only to wholesalers who can then only sell to stores and restaurants. The whole thing is archaic and stupid.

Breweries should be allowed to sell to people who show up at the brewery.

If you live in Georgia, go here now to take action and contact your state legislators or use the form below.
