Jake Tapper Slams Linda Sarsour, She Responds By Calling Him A Racist

It’s a go-to strategy from the Left. If someone of a higher caliber is debating you on the serious issues – call him a racist. We should expect nothing less from Linda Sarsour, a prominent defender of Shariah law and the BDS Movement.

The exchange between Tapper and Sarsour began when the Women’s March celebrated the birthday of cop-killer and FBI fugitive, Assata Shakur:

The adoration for Shakur was a stunning announcement to the public. She is a convicted cop-killer and domestic terrorist. Shakur escaped from prison in the 1970’s and fled to Cuba, where she was last seen. She continues to be one of the FBI’s most wanted fugitives.

CNN’s Jake Tapper pointed out the obvious. He called out the Women’s March and their co-chair, Linda Sarsour.

This prompted a response from Sarsour.

Again, I don’t expect anything less from Sarsour.

Tapper pointed out how absurd it is to praise a convicted cop-killer. He asked where the outrage was from the Left, and he called out the ugly sentiments made by the organization’s co-chair. Sarsour responds by claiming he “joins the ranks” of the alt-right (a white nationalist and racist faction) and by asking Tapper if she’s controversial because of her defense of Islam and immigration.

Yeah, Linda. Tapper thinks you’re controversial because you’re pro-immigrant and pro-justice. Get over yourself.

Sarsour has quite the rap sheet. She has defended the practice of Shariah law abroad, supports the BDS Movement (boycott, divestment and sanction of Israel) and has called for “jihad” against President Trump. She once said she wanted to take Ayaan Hirsi Ali’s vagina away because Ali is a frequent critic of radical Islam. Many have labeled Sarsour an extremist and an anti-Semite.

Jake Tapper, as I’m sure you’re well aware, is no right-wing pundit by any means. He has been, and will continue to be, very critical of Republicans and Donald Trump. But like most any reasonable human being, Tapper was appalled by a seemingly-mainstream organization praising the birthday of a cop-killer.

The Women’s March is supposed to be a progressive organization centered around the promotion of women’s rights. But their co-chair is a defender of Shariah law and they celebrate FBI fugitives?

Tapper asked a superb question. Where is the outrage from the Left on this? Better question: why is Tapper one of the few MSM guys pointing this out?
