Leni Riefenstahl

Hitler’s favorite film maker/propogander was listed in the “In Memoriam” section of the Academy Awards.

So, Mel Gibson is ridiculed for making “The Passion,” Elia Kahzan is a social pariah for turning in Communists, but Leni can be applauded and remembered. That about sums up Hollywood. Always allied with the bad guys.

Seriously, I thought you had to be an Academy member to be remembered in the “In Memoriam” section. Who let Leni in? And, they say Jews control Hollywood. Talk about blowing the lid off that myth.

  • I was quite suprised to see Leni Riefenstahl’s info in the memorium section at the Academy Awards, but it was the right thing to do. Yes, if that back-stabbing, ex-Red Elia can be remembered, so can Leni. Its not just about honoring those in the film industry that we agree with, but those whose works have impacted society. She deserves to be remembered for the amazing cinematic feats of turning an ugly, little man in to a God…and telling the story of a a time and place all the world should never forget.
