Marco Rubio’s New Ad Campaign: Football, Not Politics

Rubio’s campaign team released this footage a while back. Now they’re taking it and turning it into an advertisement. It is a very non-traditional ad.

Instead of talking football, Rubio goes for being relatable. He talks football, throws footballs, and does not talk politics. It is a personalizing ad at a time he is getting beat up by Christie and Bush. But I wonder if it is the right message. At a time he is being attacked for being slack in his Senate office and not voting, Rubio is running commercials on going to football games.

Not sure. But I like the unconventional approach and his campaign’s willingness to try something different.
