One of the hallmarks of the Branch Trumpidians is a belief that their god can put liberal states in play for the GOP. They are convinced that, for example, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and New York will all fall to Donald Trump, giving him an edge in the Electoral College.
Siena College’s latest poll is consistent with most of the other polls out there. Turns out that Trump does not put it in play. The real surprise is that Trump scores 30%. That’s higher than I would have expected. But Hillary Clinton is comfortably ahead outside the margin of error at 56%.
Trump does put states in play though. Utah, Mississippi, Arizona and other Republican states look vulnerable to Hillary Clinton with Donald Trump as the nominee. Of course that all heads in the wrong direction.
