Optimism

Rick Hasen links to this article about a mid-level law firm associate making $123,000+ a year who got elected to the New Jersey state legislature, which pays $49,000.00 a year (wow!) Now he has had to resign his job because of possible conflicts. Talk about an optimist:

“I don’t think I’m going to be taking that big of a pay cut,” says Baroni, who was sworn into office on Tuesday. “At least I hope it’s not the way it works.”
