Potentially Fake Black Man Attacks the Largely Black NFL for Racism

I suppose it’s just part of being in the grievance-mongering industry to do this kind of thing. When you literally pay your bills by inflaming racial tension and animosity for profit and attention, you hit big names and big targets as often as possible no matter how distasteful it may be. It’s how your bread is buttered.

And in America, no one is working harder to take over the racket of racial exploitation from the capable hands of charlatans Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson quite like activist Shaun King. Yes, that would be the social justice warrior who has been embroiled in a scandal of his own for several months now.

No it’s not nearly as serious as the rape allegations brought by Tawana Bradley against Al Sharpton or the illegitimate child of Jesse Jackson. But there is significant evidence that suggests Shaun King is a white guy posing as a black man for profit. King denies the allegations but has refused to address the evidence. A sports pundit named Clay Travis has even offered to pay $50k to charity if King stake a DNA test and demonstrates he is at least 25% black. King won’t do it for some reason. Instead, he just goes on strumming the chords of racial division for publicity.

And he’s done it again by announcing his personal boycott of the National Football League because the racist white owners won’t agree to pay half-black Colin Kaepernick millions of dollars to play football for them. Yes, in case you’re wondering, those racist white owners are paying hundreds of fully-black football players hundreds of millions of dollars to play football for them.

That fact, to a pair of unbiased eyes, might seem to indicate that there’s something deterring interest in Kaepernick besides his race. But looking through the eyes of potentially-white-pretending-to-be-black-for-profit Shaun King, this is nothing but pure, unadulterated raaaaaaaacism!

“I won’t be watching the NFL this year. I can’t, in good conscience, support this league, with many of its pro-Trump owners, as it blacklists my friend and brother Colin Kaepernick for taking a silent, peaceful stance against injustice and police brutality in America. It’s disgusting and has absolutely nothing to do with football and everything to do with penalizing a brilliant young man for the principled stance he took last season.

It’s racism. It’s bigotry. It’s discrimination. Period. It’s not football. Don’t call it football. If you call the decisions by 32 teams to not sign this man a football decision, you don’t know football and probably voted for Donald Trump.”

Real quickly, about that “principled stand” – Kaepernick claimed at the time it was a protest against police murdering and society oppressing black people. He wasn’t going to stand for the anthem until that got better. Kaepernick ended his protest at the end of last year. So does that mean that the police are no longer racist and blacks are no longer oppressed? If so, what is King so worked up about? And if not, how can King conclude Kaepernick is principled since he’s abandoned his “stand?”

Of course you see the problem here. I’m trying to rationally understand mindless, irrational emoting on the part of a race-baiter by trade.

For what it’s worth, I tend to think that Kaepernick has talent. But many talented athletes have not been worth the headache for teams because of their attitudes, lack of discipline, and off-the-field issues. I don’t pretend to know everything there is to know about why NFL teams are not willing to pay Kaepernick exorbitant amounts of money to play for them. But given that they are paying other black athletes far more than they would be paying Kap, I’m beyond confident that racism and bigotry isn’t the reason.

But then again, I don’t get paid for stirring up racial hate. If I did, I might be willing to pretend it’s the reason too.
