Rand Paul Boycotting Fox Debate After Kiddie Table Downgrade

Rand Paul’s campaign told Fox News that the senator won’t be at Thursday’s debate in South Carolina.

“By any reasonable criteria Senator Paul has a top tier campaign,” his campaign said. “He will not let the media decide the tiers of this race and will instead take his message directly to the voters of New Hampshire and Iowa.”

The lineup for the main stage for the Fox Business News debate at 9 p.m. is Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Ben Carson, Chris Christie, Jeb Bush, and, inexplicably, John Kasich.

The 6 p.m. undercard will be between Carly Fiorina, Mike Huckabee and Rick Santorum, with Paul sitting out.
