So Cute: Green Day Thinks It is Relevant Again By Protesting Trump at the American Music Awards

Back during the Bush Administration, the band Green Day produced “American Idiot,” in which it made clear its music was not for anyone outside major American cities who believed in any values other than totalitarian leftism.

Their American Idiot lyrics, written as a protest to George Chimpy McBusHitler Halliburton, included the lines:

Well maybe I’m the f*gg*t America
I’m not a part of a redneck agenda
Now everybody do the propaganda
And sing along to the age of paranoia

Because, you know, Bush was a redneck homophobe.

Last night, Billy Joe Armstrong began a chant of “No Trump / No KKK / No Facist USA!”

Really, Green Day has to be excited by Donald Trump becoming President. All they’ve had for the last eight years were stale repeats of Bush era songs. They kinda faded away. Now Trump can make them rich again.

And while Green Day is getting rich complaining about Donald Trump, Trump will be President for the next two years with a Republican controlled Congress despite all their protests.
