Hollywood: An Ugly Tale of Corruption and Child Rape

We’re probably all aware of the firestorm that is ripping through Hollywood, currently. For those who may have somehow missed it, however, know that the dam is broke, and the ugly backwash of sexual harassment, abuse, and outright rape is flooding the spotlight-lined streets and red carpet dreams.

It began with the reports of Harvey Weinstein, the high powered movie producer behind such hits as “The English Patient,” “Pulp Fiction,” and “Silver Linings Playbook.”

Weinstein is, apparently, a serial abuser of women, and in particular, has used his position of power to harass, inappropriately touch, and in a growing number of cases, rape young starlets.
What began with Weinstein, however, was only the beginning. Hollywood is going through a purging, and every dark secret, every abusive account, every name is being flushed out into the open.

If it were just adults, it would be horrible and wrong and worthy of every cry of outrage.

But it’s not just adults.

For years, former child actor Corey Feldman has claimed that there was a culture of pedophilia in Hollywood, as well.

Feldman, along with his best friend and frequent co-star, Corey Haim, lit up the screen as teens in movies like, “Dream a Little Dream” and “The Lost Boys.”

Haim, unfortunately, struggled with life after child stardom, with drug addiction and demons that wrecked his life, right up until he was taken from this world in 2010 by complications from pneumonia. He was only 38 years old.

Feldman tells a tale in his book, “Coreyography: A Memoir,” of an ambitious and naïve young Haim, and an incident with another Hollywood big name, that is absolutely heartbreaking.

Charlie Sheen, an equally troubled actor, is now being charged as the adult male who raped a young Corey Haim, years ago, on the set of the movie, “Lucas,” when Haim was only 13 years old.

I’ll say now, the story that is breaking is from the National Enquirer. It’s not a source I would normally turn to for truth, but the story they tell is similar to the story Feldman has already told, with the difference being, they give the name. Feldman did not.

Feldman even recently alluded to the story coming out in the Enquirer, suggesting that it was, in fact, the story he’d told of in his book.

From his book, Feldman tells this tale:

‘At some point during the filming [of ‘Lucas,’ Haim] explained an adult male convinced him it was perfectly normal for older men and younger boys in the business to have sexual relations, that it was ”what all guys do,” Feldman wrote.

‘So they walked off to a secluded area between two trailers during a lunch break for the cast and crew,’ continued Feldman,’ and Haim, innocent and ambitious as he was, allowed himself to be sodomized.’ Feldman never named Sheen as the man in the incident.

The story is also backed up by another former child actor who was close to Haim.

Former actor Dominick Brascia claims Haim disclosed to him what happened between him and Sheen. Brascia went on the record about what he says Haim told him before he died in 2010 at 38-years-old.

‘Haim told me he had sex with Sheen when they filmed ‘Lucas,’ Brascia told the Enquirer. ‘He told me they smoked pot and had sex. He said they had anal sex. Haim said after it happened Sheen became very cold and rejected him. When Corey wanted to fool around again, Charlie was not interested.’

He was 13. Sheen was 19 years old. And it was too much for him to handle.

The Enquirer apparently did their homework. They followed up with dozens of witnesses, all who knew of the incident between Sheen and Haim, because Haim had confided in them, as well.

He was looking for some kind of anchor, somebody to clear up that chaotic, confusing time in his life. He was looking for help. His childhood and his innocence had been stripped from him by a predator.

He was looking for something he apparently never found.

Another insider alleges that ‘Corey was so confused by the sexual encounter he believed, like so many victims, he was ‘in love’ with his abuser,’ adding that the actor bullied the young teen actor into a vulnerable position for sex.

Brascia added that Haim told him he later had consensual sex with the ‘Wall Street’ star while in his mid-to-late 20s. ‘Haim told me he had sex with Sheen again,’ Brascia said, adding ‘He claimed he didn’t like it and was finally over Sheen. He said Charlie was a loser.’

Charlie Sheen has had his own problems through the years. Several failed marriages, legal troubles, and drug-induced, destructive behavior that eventually ended his time on a hit TV show, “Two and a Half Men,” and culminated in an HIV diagnosis in 2011. He denies that he raped Haim.

So what twisted Sheen?

We may never know, but I’m of the belief that nobody begins as a predator. Something, somewhere goes wrong and a part of their spirit grows dark.

The irony is that Hollywood is quick to tell the rest of us how to live, but underneath the surface of their $500 hairstyles, perfect makeup, and all the bright lights is something far nastier, more corrupt than all those they feel so comfortable haranguing.

Corey Haim is just one, tragic example of how even children in Hollywood are not safe from this dangerous, debauched culture. You have to know there are more, and as Feldman has been trying to signal to the world, there really are.

For the rest of us, it’s time to stop looking to Hollywood and pop culture to be the arbiters of our conscience. They’ve got a lot of cleaning up to do around their own backdoors.

The Deep, Ugly Ties of Berkeley Antifa Group to Pedophilia

The clashes on campuses between pro-Trump supporters and the liberal Antifa groups have been getting a lot of attention, lately.

One of the enduring questions, through it all, has to be who are these Antifa groups, other than just militant, anti-free speech, anti-conservative leftists?

The recent threat of rioting at Berkeley University by one of the Antifa groups called, The Coalition to Defend Affirmative Action, Integration & Immigrant Rights, and Fight for Equality By Any Means Necessary – or By Any Means Necessary (BAMN) – was made, in order to prevent Ann Coulter from making an appearance.

Shutting down free speech is nothing new for leftists.

Liberals love fascism, even when they’re accusing conservatives of being fascists.

Hypocrisy is a virtue to liberals, after all.

This particular group have even more loathsome ties, other than their obvious Marxist bent.

From the Daily Caller:

BAMN’s parent organization worked directly with the North American Man/Boy Love Association (NAMBLA) in the years just before it founded BAMN, according to NAMBLA documents reviewed by The Daily Caller. In addition, a member of that parent organization said to have founded BAMN is an admitted member of NAMBLA, which she has described as the victim of a “witch-hunt.”

So, for those who don’t know what NAMBLA is, it’s just as the name implies. It is a group of pedophiles, grown men who are sexually attracted to young boys.

How young is too young?

I saw an interview with the founder of NAMBLA years ago and he was asked that very question.

The obviously disgusted interviewer asked if a one-year old boy was too young for a sexual relationship.

The NAMBLA head answered that it would depend on if the parents were agreeable.

If you’re in the floor now, that was pretty much my reaction – and then I wondered how the man conducting the interview was able to keep from punching a hole in the guy’s face.

So why hasn’t NAMBLA been shut down?

Free speech. How’s that for irony?

They can talk about having sex with little boys all day, as long as it remains just talk. That’s ok with BAMN. Just don’t try to talk about conservatism.

Meanwhile, BAMN were founded by the Revolutionary Workers League, a Marxist organization based out of Detroit.

“The Revolutionary Workers League is a Trotskyist organization of which I’m a member,” Luke Massie, one of BAMN’s founders told the Michigan Daily in 2001. “We are proud to have played a part in a whole lot of struggles and to have played a role in the founding of BAMN.”

An anonymous group of researchers provided TheDC with copies of internal NAMBLA publications from the 1990’s. The internet sleuths requested anonymity, citing fear of retaliation by BAMN members, and asked instead to be collectively referred to as, “The shadowy and/or mysterious organization known as Antifaleaks.”

That’s disgusting enough. Where is the link to NAMBLA?

NAMBLA’s November-December 1991 bulletin, reviewed by TheDC, described at one of its conferences the “participation of Revolutionary Workers League, a Trotskyite group centered in the Detroit area. RWL is supportive of gay rights in general and NAMBLA in particular.” The journal contained details of the organization’s conferences and activities, as well as detailed, erotic stories about naked young boys.

There was also a 1992 bulletin referring to the RWL as a “NAMBLA ally.”

Further, lawyer Eileen Scheff has represented BAMN often, and has stood as a loyal defender of NAMBLA.

“As an activist in the legal and political struggle for lesbian/gay rights and for freedom of sexual expression, I am here to support NAMBLA and to demand that the witch-hunt against it must be stopped,” Scheff said at the conference. “The media and police are targeting NAMBLA because it stands for the rights of young people to have consensual sex with whomever they want.”

“Denying youth their sexuality or driving sexual expression deeper and deeper underground will not stop child molestation,” Scheff added. She called for “youth-controlled centers where they can freely socialize and enjoy safe, consensual sex.”

“I call on all progressive people in the lesbian/gay community, in the women’s movement, and in the community at large to defend NAMBLA and its right to advocate for consensual sex regardless of age, and to unite our forces to make a fight for the real solutions to sexual coercion and abuse,” Scheff said.

Lady, you are out of your mind.

These are the people that are staging the violence to shut down political speech that they don’t like.

These are not the “good guys,” by any stretch, but they think they are.

It Is Not As Debunked As They’d Have You Believe

There is a very, very strong sentiment within liberal culture that one should not link pedophilia and homosexuality. I tend to agree when dealing with young children, but I also read this Atlantic piece and do not think it is as debunked as the left would have you believe.

What the Milo Yiannopoulos situation has made clear and what others have made clear in related conversations is that by and large there is no correlation between homosexuality and sexually abusing young children. But where the conversation diverges is in the area Yiannopoulos brought up. There is a current in the gay community that does not see anything wrong with old-young relationships when teenagers are involved.

Even Yiannopoulos, when he backtracked, tried to make clear that he shouldn’t have used the term “boy” to describe the age he was talking about, which everyone in their right mind would still call a “boy.”

Linking to a leftwing activist site to claim this is debunked does not actually debunk it as the Atlantic article mentioned above tries to do. Saying something is debunked does not make it so.

The reality is that there is a correlation between girls becoming lesbians after suffering abuse by men. There is also a correlation between young men becoming gay after abuse. Engage in this topic and you will soon find that a large number of activists on the left really do believe that the abusers can just somehow sniff out the gay teens as opposed to contributing to them becoming gay. To admit the latter would be to admit that not every gay person is born that way.

So they have to rail against it extremely loudly and belligerently.

The fact of the matter is that much of the gay rights activist community thinks there is nothing wrong with an older person having a relationship with a younger person and they wave away the idea that it is predatory behavior by setting an age range most others would disagree with. A twenty-something engaging in a relationship with a fifteen year old is still wrong and that really goes for either heterosexual or homosexual relationships.

As Steve Berman noted earlier today

I won’t spend any more words on Yiannopoulos. More than enough has been written about him than I care to read. One silver lining of this sordid affair is that it exposed a hugely under-reported issue in the LGBT community: that young barely sexually “woke” kids get their first taste of intimacy by older men, forever sealing them into the “you’re gay and always have been” camp.

Read Robert Oscar Lopez‘s excellent piece as a good primer here. Or Michael Brown‘s. Or Chad Felix Greene‘s soul-crushing story at HuffPo.

Absolutely read those links. Particularly, read Robert Oscar Lopez‘s piece at the Stream.

This is an icky, uncomfortable topic none of us really want to engage with, but let’s not say it is debunked that older gay men prey on young men. It absolutely is not. And the reaction to Milo Yiannopoulos seems to suggest most people realize it is not.
