Tall Tale Trump Won’t Release His Taxes.

Donald “Tall Tale” Trump will not release his taxes, becoming the first major party Presidential candidate in decades not to do so.

What is he hiding?

Is it the Russian connections, the funding to Planned Parenthood, or the fact that he really is not nearly as rich as he is? Or maybe we should embrace the healing power of “and.”

The fact is that Donald Trump would not be doing this unless he had something to hide that he does not want the American people to know about. Actual billionaire Mark Cuban believes it is very likely that Trump is not worth a whole lot of money.

Here’s my personal theory. If Trump releases his tax returns, we will not only see that he is not worth a lot of money, but that he also does not have the sort of immediate access to cash that he has given his campaign. That would then raise concerns about him using his corporation as a personal piggy bank and could enable “piercing the corporate veil” in litigation. That means people could come after Trump personally on business matters instead of having to go after the corporation.

It is worth considering that several times in the past Trump said he would release his tax returns. Those, like his claims of lavish wealth, are tall tales.

We might as well start calling him Tall Tale Trump.
