Ted Cruz Has Skyrocketed 19 Points in Three Months in California

The trajectory in Iowa is now also reflected in California of all places. Ted Cruz has moved into the lead ahead of Donald Trump. Since October, Cruz has skyrocketed nineteen points to 25%. Rubio is in third place and Carson is in fourth.

The Cruz momentum has been really strong and California’s Field poll, a credible pollster, reflects the massive momentum shift in Iowa toward Cruz.

Here’s the thing — national polling tends to lag state level polling. We now have an Iowa poll that shows Cruz in first. We have a California poll showing Cruz is in first. National polling has Cruz going up. I suspect pretty soon we are going to see national polling showing Cruz in the lead.

Meanwhile, as conservative outsiders are beginning to gel with Cruz, the Establishment guys are still divided. That is pretty amazing to me. All they can do is wring their hands over Ted Cruz’s trajectory.
