The Pledge

Today, the Supreme Court threw out Michael Newdow’s case challenging the constitutionality of the Pledge of Allegiance. The Court found that Mr. Newdow had not standing to bring the suit.

As it stands, the legal status of the pledge in the 9th Circuit technically reverts to its pre-litigation status. I say techincally because I think the 9th Circuit, having once declared the pledge, as written, unconstitutional, will do so again if given the opportunity.
