The Republican Establishment Needs to Rally to Marco Rubio. Now

It is not an endorsement. It is a suggestion. The GOP elite are panicked by the rise of Ted Cruz and Donald Trump. The only way to stop them is to rally to Marco Rubio now.

It is more and more amazing that Jeb Bush, a great and kind man, can still look at himself in the mirror and think he, a governor out of office since January 2007, would be better than Marco Rubio to take on Cruz, Trump, and then Clinton. It is equally amazing that Chris Christie, a common core supporting Governor who supports gun control legislation and hugged Barack Obama on live television, thinks he is the guy. But it is even more amazing that the wizards of Wall Street funding these guys and the supposed A-class top notch Republican consultants continue to let this train wreck happen.

Of course, it is not going to happen. Go read the whole thing at IJ Review.

By the way, my favorite line is about the GOP consultant class:

[T]hey are getting their asses kicked by a veritable island of misfit toys.
