The War on Terror Attacks the Western Church. Will Democrats Notice?

There has been another terrorist attack in France. Islamic radicals, a group Democrats dare not mention, stormed into a church during mass and beheaded the elderly priest.

This happens in the Middle East. This is the first time it has happened in the western church. It is only the beginning. Do not fool yourself. Christians at church are sitting ducks for Islamic radicals. There will be more to come.

And I am reminded again that the Democrats, last night, never mentioned the war on terror during their prime time access to millions of Americans. Their war is with Donald Trump and the GOP. The GOP is to blame for everything bad, not Islamic radicals. Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders told us.

The GOP is to blame for inequality, global warming, lack of access to health care, and all the other things the Democrats say gave rise to Islamic radicalism. The Democrats seem to see Islamic radicalism as a problem caused by another American political party, rather than a religious ideology sweeping the world.

The Democrats, in fact, have failed to grapple with the extent of the problem. Radical Islam is not mainstream in the west, but it is cheered on by many millions of muslims. And it must be fought.

Jacques Hamel has gone to be with his Lord Jesus, welcomed with open arms and the songs of angels. Martyred by Islamic radicals with blood spilled in a house of our Lord, will the west that increasingly rejects Jacques Hamel’s Lord pick up the cross that is now our shared burden?

We must fight this enemy because it is fighting us.
