Will the NFL Dishonor Our Soldiers and Flag on September 11th?

Word got out that the Seattle Seahawks, a team led by a 9/11 truther, intended to join Colin Kaepernick in insulting our national flag and the soldiers who died to defend it on September 11th.

I am guessing someone came to their senses and realized that they probably should not do that on the anniversary of September 11th. Now they are saying they will “honor the country and flag.”

I will believe it when I see it.

We should be able to keep politics out of sports, but the NFL has decided honoring fallen police officers is political and protesting the American flag is not.

What is going to be interesting to see is which NFL players decide to do attention grabbing stunts against the American flag or anthem on the same day terrorists around the world like to burn our flag and kill our citizens. These millionaires who benefit from the land of the free and the home of the brave have every right to protest. But we are also entitled to remind them that but for the country they are in, whose flag they choose to insult, they would not be millionaires and would most likely live in a country where they’d be conveniently disappeared.

Islamic radicals on the streets of Gaza and the West Bank cheered on 9/11 and burned the American flag. It really is amazing players in the NFL are no better than that.
